According to the latest ratings by YouGov, 46% of people prefer senior Judges to British politicians. Nobody has the courage to discuss Brexit’s controversial article 50 which is presently under rigorous debate at the British highest court; the Supreme Court.

The decision on whether Britain will pull out of the European Union without the Parliament’s resolution has been made by the twelve judges of the Supreme Court. The High Court Judges had previously ruled for Parliamentary vote for article 50. The Daily Mail referred to these judges as “enemies of the people.” Later on, the Supreme Court took over the case.

However, the recent report by YouGov shows that most people have a favorable opinion of the senior judges. A net rating of +12 was obtained by comparing 46% of the public that prefers Senior Judges to 34% that do not have a favorable opinion about them. Brexit has summed up public opinion on senior judges. People in favor of voting have a positive view of Judges with a total rating of +39, while people that do not support voting are negative about the Judge’s opinion. The latter group has a net rating of -4.

Considering the 2015 voting score, non-supporters of the Judges’ opinion are likely those that voted for UKIP. About 58% of the public are negative of the Judicial view while 30% are positive regarding the subject. This data gave an overall rating of -28. The data obtained are almost opposite of the view of other voters under the Liberal Democrat, Labor, and Conservative.

A survey conducted on the popularity of senior Judges among the public showed that many people still favor the judges, despite the divisive article 50. An overall supportive rating of +5 was obtained. These Judges are more famous than the British politicians with the exception of Theresa May. This politician has 46% of people who like her and about 41% who dislike her.

Since the last survey on the approval of British politicians by the public, there has been a decline in the rating of the support rendered to these politicians. Among Boris Johnson, Theresa May, Phillip Hammond, David Davis, Tim Farron, and Jeremy Corbyn; only Phillip Hammond has maintained his favorability rating from the previous survey.

Three new British politicians were added in the recent survey. They are Tony Blair, Ed Balls, and Nigel Farage. Balls is the most celebrated of these three politicians while Tony Blair is the least popular. Tony Blair was a one time Prime Minister of Britain. He has the same net rating in Britain as Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has gained more approval from the public since August. His ratings have nearly doubled from 8% to 15% and will only get higher now that he is the president-elect.
